An Early Look Event

More than 200 of Washington, DC’s leading design, real estate, construction and architecture professionals gathered for an early look at Constitution Center on July 21, 2009. The event, hosted by Tim Jaroch of David Nassif Associates, showcased the building’s expansive Jerusalem marble and glass reception area that opens to a lushly landscaped one-acre courtyard. Artist Richard Deutsch was also on hand to discuss his newest commission, Legacy, a granite sculpture that is the centerpiece of the courtyard. Legacy evokes the massing and shape of the original Edward Durrell Stone designed building and honors the memory of David E Nassif, who with his father built the original building on the site. The building’s elegant finishes, high security and green features and expansive scale drew rave reviews.
